Operation Homefront

We are so excited to Partner with Operation Homefront for tomorrow’s performance of Spark!

As we said in our last blog, individual Spark performances are dedicated to different organizations working to address the play’s themes of veterans affairs, women in the military, economic struggle, and the cycle of abandonment. Their representatives will take part in the dialogue following the performance, and Theater Alliance will raise money and awareness for their organization in return.

Operation Homefront was formed in 2002 to support the families of deployed service members after 9/11. This includes active duty, Reserve, National Guard, and veteran service members. Operation Homefront provides economic support for food, home repairs, baby care, transitional housing and more as well as counseling to families of active military members and wounded warriors.

Their work is incredibly important, and we cannot thank them enough for joining us. We hope that the Operation Homefront representatives will offer a unique perspective in our talkback that follows the performance. Tickets are still on sale. Come join the conversation!
