Week three of Spark is here! We are looking forward to a weekend of wonderful discussions with two amazing organizations!

Tonight’s performance of Spark we will invite Calvary Women’s Services to participate in our talk-back and talk with our audience about what they do.Calvary Women’s Services offers housing, health, employment and education programs that empower homeless women in Washington, D.C. to change their lives. Calvary offers “a safe caring place for tonight; hope and change for tomorrow.” From case management to housing to education and life skills, Calvary does all it can to raise each woman to her full potential.

Spark addresses addiction, economic struggle, and women supporting women, all central to Calvary’s mission. We look forward to hearing what they have to say!

Saturday at 2pm we will welcome The Sparrow’s Nest Ministries to Theater Alliance. TSN Ministries offers a safe haven for at risk youth, many of them escaping abuse, neglect, or abandonment, a major theme of Spark. TSN Ministries offers educational, cultural, and recreational experiences for children and their parents to help them reach their potential and feel part of a community. The hope is to break cycles of neglect, abuse, and abandonment by instilling values that these youth will pass on to their children.

We look forward to hearing what the representatives from TSN Ministries have to say about strengthening family and the breaking cycle of abandonment.
