Theater Alliance in collaboration with Stanford University’s National Center for New Plays & Planet Earth Arts and in partnership with DC’s Department of Energy & Environment present The First Washington DC Planet Earth Arts New Play Festival!

We recently tasked DC Area Playwrights to think about the Anacostia watershed and how the presence and relationship to water divide or unite communities. With this in mind, we asked our local playwrights to write one ten-minute play about this relationship and these communities.

Featuring new short plays by:

• Jennifer Clements
• Avery Collins
• Annalisa Dias
• Kitty Felde
• Skye Landgraf

Please join us at the Anacostia Playhouse on Sunday, January 29th at 2pm for the world premiere of these new pieces and a discussion about them.

Or join us at the Kennedy Center’s Millennium Stage on Tuesday, January 31st at 6pm for the second public reading and discussion.
